QUARTERS is built in public. When a rule changes (a new game in the Bounty, a payout, a contract), it goes here first with the date it starts. Nothing on this list changes a day that already has scores in it. The same log lives in the public repo as RULES.md.
From Monday October 5, THE BOUNTY is won by the week's top score instead of by beating a set score. Every 3 paid plays on the daily machines in a week earn a jackpot token for your wallet; a token plays THE BOUNTY at the normal price. No token? Skip the line at 5x the price, and everything above the normal price goes straight into the jackpot. Tokens end with the week.
Every Bounty coin goes in through an open-source vault, 0xc4d39881d8b3823e6644d5fb41216e74e7cc2c41, which keeps the week's board on-chain. When the week closes, after a 6-hour review window for automated runs, 10% of the jackpot goes to the daily machines through 0xaF4214c01DaAE986BbfFc694198775ee2C1657eF, and the top score takes the rest: all of it up to 1 ETH when holding 100,000 $QTRS, otherwise 25%. What the winner doesn't take carries into next week. Neither contract has an owner withdraw.
The daily machines moved to a new open-source contract, 0x09b76b23aa4e299c78ed448a5e91d8cee00ccf0b. No daily machine had a score today when it switched. A run now counts if it reached the verifier within 20 minutes of its coin (the anti-cheat limit), even if the chain takes longer to accept it. Before, it had to land on-chain inside those 20 minutes, so a slow chain could cost a player their run.
To leave room for late landings, each day's pot pays at 02:00 UTC (was 00:21). If a run we received in time still can't be recorded, the verifier refunds the coin automatically. THE BOUNTY gets the same protection when it goes weekly on Monday October 5.
Official $QTRS: 0xD60bc940830167e251d1D72e95b6C952BD150f44, launched through Proof Launch. From 2026-09-30 00:00 UTC, Bounty coins go in through an open-source door contract, 0x497cf58654a7521ac9c343ed7a2d36ceb63f9317. Holding at least 100,000 $QTRS (0.01% of supply) when your coin goes in means you take the whole jackpot, up to 1 ETH. Not holding, you take 25% of it. Whatever a winner doesn't take stays in a reserve that tops the next jackpot back up to 1 ETH.
The door has no owner withdraw: it can only pay a verified winner or send money back into the jackpot. Same games, same targets, same scores for everyone. Until the door opens, a Bounty winner takes the whole pool, as before.
The arcade's authority, verifier, and treasury keys were replaced after the old ones were exposed (they had been bundled into the verifier's server image). Verifier: 0x8C59cA232e5cC1A78963c6c158B0e19ea7fE2557. Treasury: 0x08f376BFbd616626D00E8f4568542E95E9e52FF0, which now also takes each cabinet's operator cut until its deed is sold. Prices, splits, pots, and the Bounty were not touched.
The eight daily machines moved to a new open-source contract, 0x22ebb56cccb4af0f393ad18a1b06e90f51ac49aa. No daily machine had a score today when it switched. Each day's pot pays the top 3: 80% to first, 15% to second, 5% to third. One place per player: your best run of the day is your entry, so the top 3 are three different wallets. A flagged run holds no place, so the next honest run moves up.
The split is locked into each pot when it opens, so a later change never reaches a day that already has coins in it. Pots already open on the original contract finish and pay on its table (top ten). The Bounty stays on the original contract, fed by the same fee feeder, unchanged.
Every winning Bounty run is measured from its replay (reaction times to threats, the score curve, input patterns, the bot checks, the wallet's history) and reviewed by Claude before it pays. A confident "human" with no bot flags pays right away. "Unsure" or "bot" goes to a person with Claude's reasoning; if nobody decides in time, Claude's recommendation stands. The verdict and its reasons go into the run's public record, and the reviewer's code is in the public repo.
Every winning Bounty run, whatever the pool, gets a human look at its replay before it pays (it was pools over 0.1 ETH). The review happens inside the contract's 20-minute window while the winner waits on the page; if nobody reviews it in time, it pays. Runs submitted faster than they could have been played in real time are flagged.
The Bounty's leaderboard is the week's best runs and no longer resets at midnight. The daily machines still reset and pay daily. The house no longer seeds a daily pot on the Bounty machine; it pays only by beating the score.
One game per week, rotating Monday 00:00 UTC, from the public schedule in jackpot-schedule.json. The pool carries over. A run counts under the week its coin went in. Void Rocks runs through 2026-10-05.
A winning Bounty run on a pool over 0.1 ETH gets a human look at its replay before it pays, inside the contract's 20-minute window. If nobody reviews it in time, it pays.
The first verified Void Rocks run over 50,000 takes the whole pool (bountyFloor(2) = 50000). 20% of $QTRS trading fees feed the pool through 0xDcD7FB55784009cB717265F0A6AFE9CEEaA64791, an ownerless contract that can only pay the pool.
Contract 0x64d59b679728aa1d155a27c7f391c30c8e2d0b56. A play is 0.0002 ETH: 85% to the pot, 7% to the verifier for gas, 8% to the house. Daily pots pay the top 3 at 02:00 UTC: 80 / 15 / 5%, one place per player.
